Employee Spotlight: Jason Buzzell

What was your professional journey before coming to The Millenium Group? I worked full-time at various jobs while attending college, and started working for Target during that time.  I stayed with Target for 10 years while I started part-time with The Millennium Group and then became a full-time Employee.  I worked in Assets Protection and then Replenishment. 

What is your role at The Millenium Group -please explain what you do? As the Sr. Technician in the company, beyond taking care of my assigned clients I try and keep an eye on the general goings on with all customers and workload for the service desk team, and generally jump in and try to be as helpful as I can.

What do you like best about your role at The Millenium Group? There’s always something different to do, so it’s always something new.  I love the diversity of our client base, we have customers that do some really cool stuff.

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? A pilot

What are some of your favorite hobbies? Smoking meats, riding motorcycles, flying RC planes, 3d printing, doing cat dad stuff.

Who do you admire most in your life? My Dad, he served 32 years active duty in the Iowa Air National Guard.

Can you share something unique that has happened in your life?  I chewed up my leg with an RC plane in 2018 and wound up with 36 stitches while at a fun fly event in Cody, WY.  The emergency room personnel asked if I had been attacked by a bear. 

Who is your favorite superhero?  Wow, that's a great question. A tough one, though; what does one gauge his response on? Physical prowess? Keen deductive skills? The ability to banter well with super villains?”  Seriously though, I was never a big comic book person, but probably the Comic Book version of Captain America.

What is your favorite book? The Moon Is A Harsh Mistress by Robert A. Heinlein

What is your favorite movie? Mallrats, Tombstone, The Empire Strikes Back

Where is your favorite place to visit? Northwest Wyoming & Utah

What is your favorite binge-worthy television series? Shoresy
